Back to regular practice! Back from Christmas in Bear Valley... living in own apartment. Work on Traipse resumes!
Spent early morning (6-7:30?) thinking about Traipse and decided to work from end, using the end of Handtagonism as the starting point. Would like to make the end of Traipse feel compositionally satisfying, like all the parts were leading to this moment. Unsure of exactly how to do that, I watched videos of me playing Handtagonism and had some ideas for how to improve it.
Ideas for how to make end "compositionally satisfying"
- final rhythm has been alluded to but never completed until ending
- different parts (jiuchi 1, 2, 3 and nagado) are played together for the first time and "lock"
- movements and rhythmic elements that were played before on different places in the bar, find their "right" place
