First practice of year.  Beginning focus on Suga 3 for video.  Feeling very motivated and optimistic about piece.

Instrument:
Minutes On Instrument:
115
Other Participants:
Blaine O'Brien
Kaz Mogi
Notes:

Watched video of previous run, diiscussed piece.
- we all like the beginning up to the solos
- KM: not sure if end should be so short
- the more distinct solo jiuchi for each soloist seems good.  More distinction?
- KB: switch to Echo groove (not sure what to name it) immediately after build?  Make KM solo groove-based to further distinguish it from BO solo?

ran piece from beginning to find problem spots.  Struggled with basic three-person loud suga part.  Created Suga-san Drill.

next: warmup with Suga-san Drill, run piece, search for other sections to drill
