Experiments with overlapping hits, testing whether it's okay to break the hard all-alternating-hits rule. The answer is yes, and it's fun! Use of cymbal stack seems very promising.
Experiments with bachi switching. Rutes on YK R and KB L sounded good. Shouldn't be a problem to switch.
New beginning arrangement
- single oroshi split between two players
- sugamen groove fade-in (like walking up to the club and eventually opening the door)
- 3x sugamen groove as normal
- (maybe) ka section light to dark, instead of alternating
next: more slow practice of dark ka section, bring back triplet suga practice.
