Pushed practice back 30 min due to late night at ATUS.  Feeling fairly motivated.  After first bit of practice, took break to research how to do overdubs on Zoom H5.  Turns out it won't really work as a 4-track recorder.  Tomorrow, bring H4 and/or looper.

"swish" idea has promise, at least intellectually in terms of my long-term study of the relationship between movement and rhythm.  (Assuming the sounds work musically,) it is interesting to use movements defined by the drum but that don't actually strike the instrument.  Tonal difference between swishes with take and brushes might allow for a 2-part interlocking pattern.
