Improvised choreo over 21 groove

Improvising movement in 21 is hard!

I predict that the ability to move freely and time my strikes to land appropriately within an odd-time groove would improve my improvised choreography in all time signatures.  The necessarily varied-length moves might also provide useful material to break up my movements when improvising in straight 4/4.

Practice Target plan

Take a starting point video.
Continue 10-min 21 groove practice exercise with KM.  10x between now and end of year.
Take an ending point video.

Regular practice with VL.  Didn't touch Handtagonism v3 last week so was really glad for the appointment to make it happen.

160905-1630

Regular practice with KM.  Felt rather tired but spent the first 30 min or so discussing our goals for the pieces we're playing as they relate to our larger career goals.  I realized my main long-term goal (at the moment) is to make a significant contribution to naname choreography.  Traipse is really important to me.  As a medium-term goal, it would be very useful if I have a naname solo piece, as a compliment to Radiddlepa.  After the chat, we were motivated to play and tackled AP1.

Fun work on Handtagonism v3.  Realized I notated last week's new stuff at the incorrect "zoom level", so that they were 8 bars instead of the correct 4 bars.  Decided to use with the v2 bars 9-16 more-or-less as-is, at least as a rough draft, but needed a bit extra to complete the 8th bar.  Added second half of Corax.  Rough draft almost ready!
