Handtagonism v2 composition attempt. Thought what I wrote yesterday was supposed to be half-time... worked on that for a while then realized the original part was better. Felt inspired by track so switched to L hand improv.

Good morning practice. Didn't sleep quite enough last night but still fairly motivated. Feel a little lonely somehow, though.
Studying video of me improvising, I seem to lose momentum when I get to the left side. I can build small rhythms nicely into R hand circles and finally a big R sweep or two, but I have nowhere to go after that. I'm thinking I'll just practice improv on L side for the next year or so. Started that process today. L was awkward in arm swings and some strikes, as well as LLR-style rhythms... felt good to be tackling a weakness.
Goofing around on Kodo o-oke... practiced clicky-clacky stuff for upcoming In2In duet with KM on drumset. Realized I should play rim and haridashi at 12:00 and reach high. Fun with scrapes on stitches and ropes w R.
extended Equator practice. Not quite sure how to stop L foot during spin and look good but leading with chest and bending L for proper strike certainly helps. Perhaps this could be the ender for the Handtagonism Duet?
Next: don't purse lips while spinning.
Back to Handtagonism Duet v2 composition. Spent most of the time practicing section 2 (horizontal) but made a tiny bit of progress into section 3 (circles). Overall, feeling pretty good.
